Each volume of the This is True collection contains a full year's worth of columns from This is True, plus many extra stories that didn't make it into the column -- newspapers have a strict space budget which we must adhere to, but sometimes there are just too many fun stories Randy can't help but write about. You haven't seen them all even if you've read every column online or in the newspaper! There are more than 500 True stories and headlines in each!

And these are no cheap pulp paperbacks. We specified non-petroleum ink to help reduce chemical use, and acid-free paper to help prevent yellowing of the pages. They're "trade" (high-quality) paperbacks with stay-flat, laminated, four-color covers -- click here to see the cover from Volume 1 (other volumes have similar covers). Yes, it all cost us more to do it that way, but This is True is worth it! Both books measure 5.5x8.5 inches, and are 158 pages long. Each volume is just US$11 per copy.

You can order the books from most booksellers, though it's not likely you'll find them in stock. If you prefer to buy them locally, ask your favorite store to order ISBN 0-935309-21-7 for Volume 1 ("Deputy"), 0-935309-22-5 for Volume 2 ("Plants"), and 0-935309-23-3 for Volume 3 ("Pit Bulls"). If you're in a hurry, you will almost certainly get them from us more quickly than at most any bookstore. And we will not gouge you on shipping charges! For U.S./Canadian customers, we charge $2 for shipping -- no matter how many copies you order. First class/priority is $2 extra ($4 total). Outside North America: shipping is $6 per copy for Airmail, $3 per copy for surface -- less that that if you order five or more copies (e-mail us for a quote, or just charge to your credit card). Checks and money orders are fine if they are in U.S. dollars payable through a U.S. bank. Of course, we also accept (in order of preference) Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
