Licensable Logos: Java Compatible and Java Powered Logos

Third-party products and web pages may display special, descriptive logos incorporating the word Java, available under signed development agreements ("Java Compatible") or clickable online license ("Java Powered").

Java and HotJava Technology Licensing

The unmodified Java and HotJava binary releases may be redistributed free of charge in both commercial and non-commercial applications.

The Java Internal Use Source Release may be obtained for educational, research, evaluation, and non-commercial porting purposes by signing a Java Internal Use Source License.

For external commercial distribution of products that integrate the Java language source code or the HotJava browser source code, a Commercial Source Code License is required.
