is a computerized system of databases and databanks pertinent to biomedical
research and patient care,
including MEDLINE,
one of the most well-known and heavily used biomedical bibliographic databases:
- On the basis of recommendations made at the June, 1993,
NIH HIV/AIDS Information Services Conference,
coupled with increases in NLM's AIDS funding,
NLM is able to offer free
access to three MEDLARS databases relating to AIDS:
AIDSLINE, AIDSDRUGS, and AIDSTRIALS, as well as an
online directory of sources of information, DIRLINE:
- TOXNET
(TOXicology NETwork)
is a computerized system of databases and databanks pertinent to biomedical
research and patient care,
including MEDLINE, one of the most well-known and heavily used
biomedical databases.

- NLM Locator is an online catalog of NLMs books,
audiovisuals, and journal titles:

National Center for
Biotechnology Information

and other sequence databases for text and homology searching.
