These World-Wide Web pages are created and maintained by Apple Computer for Apple Developers. They contain information provided by Apple to help you to develop your applications and solutions. Inside Macintosh
A collection of books, organized by topic, that describe the system software of Macintosh computers. Together, these books provide the essential reference for programmers, designers, and engineers creating applications for the Macintosh family of computers.

Macintosh Technical Notes
Macintosh TechNotes are errata and addenda for Inside Macintosh. They can be viewed online and are available in our Macintosh Technical Notes folder on our ftp site

Macintosh Technical Q & A's
This is a compendium of questions and answers that Apple's Developer Support Center (DSC) has received on a set of specific topics. Some are frequently asked and answered Q & A's, which address issues that come up from developers in the course of building products for the Macintosh; others describe changes in various Macintosh technologies and environments. Macintosh Technical Q & A's provide developers with real-world solutions, workarounds, and code snippets. These Q & A's are currently available in HTML only; we are preparing them for our ftp site in Acrobat.

Macintosh Developer Notes
This series of publications provides developers with detailed hardware and software information that is unique to each Macintosh model and to Apple's laser printers, scanners, and video display products. Developer Notes provide the earliest source of software documentation supporting newly introduced product features. Although this software documentation is currently available only in developer notes, it may eventually migrate into other publications such as Inside Macintosh. Developer Notes are distributed whenever new Macintosh models or imaging products are introduced. Developer Notes can be ordered through APDA and are available in our Developer Notes folder on our ftp site.

Technology Overviews
Overviews of our hottest technologies can be found in our Tools Demos & Tech Overviews folder on our ftp site.

Apple Events Registry & Suites
The Apple Events Registry has been completely redesigned for easy readability and implementation. Use this as a reference when implementing Apple events. They are found in our Apple Events Registry & Suites folder on our ftp site.

Miscellaneous Human Interface documents can be found in our Human Interface folder on our ftp site.

Peripherals Documentation

Apple Business Systems (ABS) Technical Notes
