APDA is Apple's worldwide source for hundreds of development tools, technical resources, training products, and information for anyone interested in developing applications for Apple computer platforms. Customers receive the APDA Tools Catalog featuring all current versions of Apple and the most popular third-party development tools. APDA offers convenient payment and shipping options including site licensing.

Apple Computer, Inc., operates as a business in every state of the United States of America. This means that all domestic orders are subject to sales tax, regarless of the state where they originate.
We accept the following credit cards: masterCard, VISA, and American Express. Please be sure to include your card's expiration date when ordering. We also accept checks drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars or postal money orders. Submitting forms of payment other than those stated may result in the delay of shipment.
For wire transfers, international customers should contact the Bank of America in Concors, CA at (510) 675-7325 and reference the account number 1210003581233404561. The transfer should be made payable to APDA/Apple Computer, Inc. Please reference your APDA customer number if readily available. It can be found on your mailing label.
Purchase orders can be used for ordering by U.S. and Canadian corporations, agencies, or schools. To enable us to process your order as quickly as possible, please provide the following information:
- Name and phone number of a contact person
- Tax Information
Specify whether the products you are ordering are taxable or nontaxable. If your company is tax-exempt, we must have a copy of the resale or tax certificate on file. APDA is required to collect sales tax in every state.
- Your APDA customer number
Your APDA customer number can be found on the mailing label
- An authorized signature, which is required by APDA for approval on the purchase order
- Your billing address and ship-to address
- Special note for Canadian customers
Call 1-800-637-0029 for shipping costs. Please include a completed International Letter of Assurance with your order.
- Purchase requitisions are not accepted
- The minimum amount for purchase orders is $50 per order (excluding shipping and tax).
- Terms are net 30 days from date of invoice. Processing time is 48 hours. The omission of required information will delay the processing of your purchase order. If APDA does not receive a response withing 12 days of requesting the required information, the order is subject to cancellation.
- Purchase orders are accepted by mail or fax only. Orders cannot be processed until the hard copy is received. Please use the fax and mailing addresses for corespondences.
Class 1b: These are beta release versions, not fully tested and documented, but expected to be completed in the future.
Class 2: These are restricted products, not tested; documentation may still be in preliminary draft form.
In order to Purchase any product labled as Class 1b or 2, a completed and signed APDA Terms and Conditions must be on file or be attached to your order. Please complete the attached form and enclose it with your order, or contact APDA customer service.
To protect your investment in development tools, we offer 30-day purchase protection for all Apple-labeled products. If within 30 days of the date you purchase a product, we begin taking orders for a new version of that product, you will automatically receive the update version at no additional charge.
We want you to be 100 percent satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason your purchase isn't exactly what you wanted, simply call our Customer Service Representatives (within 60 days from the date of purchase) and we will be happy to assist you in processing your return. You can also refer to the back of your packing slip for details on the return procedure. When you return merchandise, please include the original packing slip with the merchandise being returned. At your option, we will gladly replace your shipment at no charge or issue a refund against your original payment method.
