I compiled this information in the Spring of 1993 for an Independent Study class. During my research I found that while there is not a great deal of information available specifically labeled Feminist or Womens Studies, there are quite a few resources available for those seeking feminist and womens studies information. I have made appendicies to the booklet for those resources which I consider the most valuable sources of information in Womens Studies on the Internet today. Feel free to download and use this guide to facilitate your research or as a model for bibliographic instruction. If you do decide to use this guide, please send me a message to let me know that you are using it and to share any suggestions you have on ways to improve it.
This guide was created with the intention that it be downloaded and used by those conducting or facilitating Feminist or Womens Studies research. I ask only that you retain my name on the booklet when you are using or distributing it. I welcome comments and suggestions. I would like to thank Lynn Westbrook and for all of her wonderful support and enthusiasm in this project, as well as the folks who responded to my requests for information (over the Listservs) when I was just beginning. Special thanks to Lou Rosenfeld, Joan Korenman and Paula Gaber for their time and help in preparing and posting this booklet. And of course many thanks to Ed Krol for his book The Whole Internet, without which I would never have begun this project.
