Networking Over The Internet

The Internet is a great tool for networking with others who are doing
research similar to yours or to get advice for your research. If you
subscribe to a listserve and post your request, you will usually get
several helpful responses. Be sure to include your e-mail address so
people can respond to you privately rather than to the whole list.

Addresses of Listservs

To subscribe to a listserv you need to send a subscription request as an E-mail message to the addresses supplied below. A subscription request simply consists of the message below sent as the body of your message. Most of these are done electronically and not by individuals, so do not write more than that message if all you want to do is subscribe. These are free to join, however it costs money to read the list messages, as they come to your E-mail account. Some of them have condensed packages they can send you if you do not wish to read through all of the messages, or they are archived somewhere. Usually you can find all this information out in the first message you receive after you send a subscription request.
