An extremely fast, comprehensive 2D draughting package for Professional CAD users. ProCAD allows multiple drawings on screen with multiple views of each to differing scales if required and 32 layers of drawing. Powerful zoom and pan facility with continuous measure feature, vertical and horizontal rulers and isometric or retangular grids. Drawings can be imported and exported as draw files or in DXF format.

ProCAD allows multiple line types including parallel lines with automatic fillets and mitres. Features include auto dimensioning, intelligent point snap, geometric features including tangents to circles, multiple fonts, user defined symbol library and architectural and ordnance survey type fills. Text enumeration automatically steps numbers in text and classification can be given to text, eg 'Prices', 'Materials' etc and complex reports drawn up to create bills of materials etc direct from a drawing.

ProCAD supports HPGL compatible plotters up to A0 plus an on line quick print facility using RISC OS printer drivers. The A0 plotter driver supplied implements a vector/object sorting algorithm which ensures that entities are plotted in an order which minimises the pen movements and the number of pen up/down changes used.
