At the time of writing, Acorn were telling us they would have a web site of their own working soon. As they have been the backbone of the commercial internet in the UK since before most people heard of it they should be able to do this fairly easily. If they've made it public by now you should be able to reach it by clicking here.
In case they haven't made it public yet, this page offers a little bit of background. Acorn Computers Ltd is a UK company which designs and builds its own proprietry hardware and writes its own proprietry operating systems for that hardware. Their first major success was when the BBC signed the contract for the BBC Micro which became a very popular home and educational computer in the UK.
This success was used to fund research into RISC technology and Acorn became pioneers in this field with the Archimedes range of computers becoming the first RISC based systems to reach the desktops of ordinary users. These systems and their successors still offer a very attractive power/price ratio compared to the rest of the field.
