This page contains the latest hot news from Minerva Software. It changes on a reasonably regular (and frequent) basis so you might like to return here from time to time to check out whats new and see if we are running any special offers.
The main news right now you already know - Minerva Software is on the Web! We hope you like our web site. You can send comments, suggestions, criticisms, praise etc to us if you like - see our contacts page.
As usual, we are working on a host of new projects. Some of these can be mentioned here and some can't... Much of our resource has recently been occupied by setting up a new sister company, Zynet Ltd. This is an internet provider and is hosting this site (as you can probably tell). So at last there is an internet service provider who actually knows what an Acorn computer is!
New software in development is PrimeStories which will offer access to multi-media for the terrified. Both teachers and children will be able to edit their own story books incorporating sound and the spoken word. This is aimed at KS1 to 2 and will be available soon.
Look out too for software which will let you read this on the screen of your favourite Acorn computer - that's right, we're working on a web browser for RISC OS. This is a joint project and will probably be marketed by someone else (ok, Acorn) but we can assure you it will be of the best!
We are also working on Ancestry II. This will be the ultimate genealogical database and has a powerful, object oriented user interface making access to its immense range of features both quick and intuitive.
Other projects are under way but we can't talk about those yet - watch this space! Meanwhile, here's a taster from Ancestry II.
