Linkword is an exciting new way of learning a language for adults and children. The package is ideal for the holiday maker or business traveller and as a 'kick start' for children learning a language at school.

Using this software makes learning fast, easy and enjoyable. You can learn the basics of a new language 2 to 3 times faster than by conventional methods. Linkword is based on imagery, linking foreign words to acoustically similar English words. For example, the French for tablecloth is nappe. Imagine having a nap on a tablecloth. Linkword teaches you by easy to remember word pictures in English which help you to recall the language you are learning. Linkword is the only language course which not only teaches you what words and grammar to learn, but also how to remember what you learn. With this technique, you will learn grammar, pronunciation and a 400 word vocabulary covering such topics as food, travel, emergencies, leisure topics and others. Each language comes with an audio cassette so you can hear the correct pronunciation of each new word.

Dr Michael M. Gruneberg author of Linkword has published numerous books on the application of memory research. In 1988 he provided the original script for and appeared in 'The Magic of Memory', a programme in the BBC Television QED series which illustrated many memory techniques, including his own Linkword method. In developing the Linkword Language Courses Dr Gruneberg has worked with qualified linguists.
