CADet is a fast 2D draughting package which allows multiple drawings, with multiple views on each and has a user defined symbol library, architectural and ordnance survey fills. CADet has HPGL plotter support to A3, and the ability to print using RISC OS drivers. Drawings can be imported and exported as draw files.

Current settings are displayed on screen with direct access to controls for ease and speed of drawing and there is an on screen prompt message option also available for on line help. CADet has horizontal and vertical rulers in inch or centimetre units together with user selectable grids, which can be retangular or isometric.

A wide range of construction tools are supplied including break lines/arcs, copy/move, and circular copy. CADet supports object grouping and has comprehensive object editing including text. It also features a roll-back undo feature and on-the-fly real time snap features including combination of snaps. The snap feature automatically pinpoints and aligns geometry as you draw. The pointer uses CADet's built in intelligence to align with endpoints, midpoints, centrepoints, perpendiculars, tangencies - virtually any logical design point.
