Hospice is about people caring for people....

Hospice Northeast... was established in 1979 as the first hospice program in Northeast Florida and has served more than 16,000 terminally ill children and adults at home, in long term care facilities, in hospitals and at The Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida. The nonprofit organization provides compassionate, dignified care to terminally ill patients residing in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties in Florida; and Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn and Ware counties in Georgia.

Hospice Northeast's cost-effective care includes medical directors, nurses, social service professionals, chaplains, home health aides, homemakers, and specially trained volunteers who together provide a very personal plan of treatment for each patient and family. This professional staff is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and works together with patients to help manage the pain and control the symptoms associated with their illness. It is the mission of Hospice Northeast to provide the best care possible to terminally ill patients enabling them to live their final days in peace and comfort.
