NCSA Mosaic Document View Window
The NCSA Mosaic Document View
window lets you view a document in the universe of available
information on the Internet.
If you're currently using Mosaic, you are viewing this document in a
Document View window. If you're not currently using Mosaic, here's what a Document View
looks like when it's used to view the Mosaic demo
document.
The menubar at the top of the Document View window provides program
control, navigation, and document manipulation functions. It looks like this:

Document View Viewing Area
Most of the Document View window is occupied by the Viewing Area (or
"view", for short) -- the area of the window that displays the
document and includes scrollbars to allow documents larger than the
window to be displayed.

Bottom Control Panel
Below the Viewing Area is a small control panel with a text entry area
and a row of buttons. This control panel gives quick access to NCSA
Mosaic's searching capabilities and the more common commands that you
may wish to access while browsing a set of documents.
