For those with a taste for the extraordinary, a Special Edition SL, built to celebrate the Mille Miglia 1995, has been available since May in a limited edition of only 600. The special versions of the 280 SL, 320 Sl and 500 SL are distinguished above all by their exclusive interiors and extended range of equipment.
For example, the black leather seats with perforated red seat sections, door centre segments in red patent leather and use of carbon fibre for the centre console cover, gear-shift lever and door trim. The special models also feature tinted glass, automatic climate control, heated seats and an anti-theft warning system with anti-tow-away protection as standard.
Striking elements on the exterior include the exclusive light-alloy wheels with 235/45 ZR 17 tyres and the black and white chequered finishing flag appears as a design element on the front wings.
