Welcome To HERMES
This is the entry point for the World Wide Web server for the HERMES
experiment at DESY.
The HERMES experiment is an internal target experiment in the HERA electron

proton and neutron and will determine the fundamental Bjorken Sum Rule.
Data taking has just started in spring 1995.
Important NEWS: May 4th, 1994 a
longitudinal polarized electron beam
has been created in an electron storage ring for the first time.
