wsf button The June 1995 sponsor of the Aerospace Business Development Center is The University of Houston Space Vacuum Epitaxy Center and their Wake Shield Facility Information Center. Carried into space in the payload bay of the Space Shuttle for a launch on July 30, 1995, the Wake Shield Facility (WSF) presents a unique experimental platform for the development of advanced semiconductor materials and devices through the use of the ultra-vacuum of space.
