Windows 95 System Check
(Download: 76KB, Self Extracting Zip File, Published: September 7, 1995). This is a standalone application that can be used to ensure existing hardware meets the minimum requirements to run Windows 95. This application checks for processor type, hard disk space, RAM, and certain applications that are known to cause problems during setup.

Software Compatibility List
(Download: 188KB, Self Extracting Zip File, Published: August 31, 1995). This helpfile contains a list of the more than 2500 existing applications we have tested. Except where noted, according to our tests these applications will run as well or better under Windows 95. Of course you'll be the final judge. NOTE: applications not appearing on this list are likely to work fine, they just weren't part of our internal testing effort. Also note that this is not a list of Windows 95 Logo'd products.
Hardware Compatibility List
