| Telephony Industry Embraces Windows NT Server
March 13, 1996 - Windows NT Server provides a
strong telephony development platform. This was affirmed when more than
40 developers announced new products based on Windows NT Server at the
Computer Telephony Conference on March 12th. The telephony application
programming interface (TAPI), currently included in Windows 95, will be
included in the forthcoming release of Windows NT Server 4.0 and
Windows NT Workstation 4.0,
as TAPI version 2.0. This represents the first time computer telephony
capabilities have been integrated into a mainstream server operating
system.

| Microsoft Confirms March 18 Availability of SQL Server Internet
Connector License
March 13, 1996 - The SQL Internet Connector license allows unlimited Web access to a
single Microsoft SQL Server (version 6.0 or 6.5) on the Internet or
corporate intranets, whether access is from Microsoft's Internet
Information Server or from a third-party Web server. The new licensing
structure solves the problem of counting and licensing individual SQL
