measuring cup |
3 cups of water |

Put the water in a pot and turn the stove on high. When the water boils add the macaroni. When the water boils again, turn the stove down to medium and cook the macaroni for about 5-10 minutes, stirring every few minutes so the noodles don't stick. Taste the macaroni to see if it is ready. When they are done, drain the water by carefully pouring the water and macaroni into the colander which should be put in the sink. Grate the cheddar cheese until you have about 1 1/2 cups. In the casserole dish, mix together the milk, noodles, grated cheese, and butter. Bake your creation in the oven for about 35 minutes.
