Hi kids! Welcome to the CyberBud Kitchen where we plan to share with you some Stellar recipes that you can try out at home. In this first round of recipes we are featuring fun summer treats made with bananas, peanut butter and fruit. Most of these recipes are pretty easy and you can probably do them on your own. Any of the recipes that call for baking in the oven, cooking on the stove, cutting with a knife or opening a can should be done with the help of an adult. If you have a favorite recipe that you would like to share with other CyberBuds, e-mail or send it to us care of Modern Media Ventures and we will include it on this page. Be sure to include your name, age, e-mail address and the state or province and country you live in so that we can put your name and your countries flag on the page with your recipe.

Rae's Bouncin' Banana Bread

(This recipe should be done with the help of an adult.)

Food Ingredients Cooking Tools
3 extra ripe bananas teaspoon
2 eggs measuring cup
2 cups of flour whisk
3/4 cup of sugar small bowl
1 teaspoon of salt large bowl
1 teaspoon of baking soda electric mixer or big mixing spoon
mango (optional) loaf pan
nuts (optional)
raisins (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Peel the bananas and put them in a large bowl. Mash the bananas with a fork until they look like baby food. Beat the eggs in a small bowl. Pour the eggs into the bowl with the bananas and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix all the ingredients really well. (An electric mixer makes this part easier.)
Get a loaf pan and wipe the inside with some butter, margarine or vegetable oil. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake it in the oven for about 1 hour. The bread is done when you can stick a toothpick into it and it comes out dry. Let the pan cool before removing the bread from the pan.
You can personalize this recipe by adding a handfull of your favorite nuts or raisins. You can also substitute a mashed up mango for one of the bananas to make Banana Mango Bread.
