Upgrading WinWeb
If you have already installed an earlier version of WinWeb and are upgrading there are two changes in the new version of WinWeb that you should be aware of.
-
The way the font height information is stored has been redefined. This may result in font sizes that are incorrect when you first run the new version of WinWeb. To fix this, simply go to the View Font dialog box and select the Default button for all of the available fonts. This should reset the font height to the correct size.
-
The Proxy= entry in the [Options] section is no longer supported. If you have WinWeb configured to work with a proxy server you will have to recongifure the new version of WinWeb to work with your server. To do this, there is now a proxy configuration dialog box in the Options menu.
Downloading WinWeb
EINet WinWeb is available by anonmyous FTP to the host named
ftp.einet.net. When you
connect to this host, cd

and get
the following file
using FTP's binary
mode.
