UTIRC Services

UTIRC is one of seven departments of the Division of Computing and Communications at the University of Toronto, Toronto Ontario Canada. We provide services in the following areas:
  1. consulting services in instructional technology and applications
  2. support for multimedia and visualization techniques
  3. access to and support for high performance computing
  4. support for adaptive technology (aids for people with disabilities).
  5. support for research tools and applications.

Gopher server
Anonymous FTP server
containins locally used software packages and documentation. The directory /pub contains publicly available material (WWW documentation, Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) source codes, etc). See the README for more information. The University of Toronto also has site licences for various packages, some of which are distributed by UTIRC. The /ut directory describes these packages.
