Villages Association of South Africa
- SOS Children's Villages is an international organisation dedicated
to the wellbeing of children. Their project in Mamelodi includes the
SOS Computer Training Centre. Among other services it offers what is
believed to be the first full Internet connection in a South African
township.

- Infomation that is relevant to the research undertaken by the

- UCT Centre for Marine Studies
- The University of Cape Town is recognized as a centre of excellence
in the wider marine field for Africa. Organizations have been turning
to UCT for expert advice on marine and maritime matters. To
