Industry standard 51/4" removable cartridges are utilized. No additional system hardware is required.
Single or multiple optical disks can be housed in either a one device, a three-device, a four-device, or a twelve-device enclosure. The enclosure contains a power supply, a cooling fan, SCSI input and output connectors, terminator, and ID switches.
The rewriteable erasable optical disk subsystem is ideal for use with large databases or for archiving data for long periods of time.
