National Aeronautics and Space Administration

When Congress created the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in 1958, it directed the NASA Administrator to do three things:

  1. Conduct aeronautical and space "activities."
  2. Create a science program using aeronautical and space vehicles.
  3. Inform the public as widely as possible about agency activities and their benefits.
We are pleased to now add the Internet as a means for dissemination of information to the public. This site is currently under construction, however we wanted to provide you with as much information as possible as it becomes available. Please come back and visit; we anticipate many additional upgrades.
