RACAR software (Ray-Casting Render) is used by owners of Digital Arts 3-D animation software to import animation and object files from their PC-based host to a Silicon Graphics(R) workstation, and produce raytraced video, film, and print-quality images. Designers can take advantage of both the additional features of raytracing to create better images and the speed of Silicon Graphics hardware to render faster.
