Demon Internet and Europe On Line Limited have reached agreement for a new dial-up service to be launched later this year.
The service will debut in the UK, with plans for a pan-European roll-out shortly after.
Europe On Line is a supplier of pan-European mobile and data communications services. The company's expertise in these areas, and their significant customer base, leads them a logical step forward to providing Internet access.
Giancarlo Calderini, Marketing Director of Europe On Line, comments, "We have been watching the phenomenal growth of the Internet with a keen interest. Following intensive discussions with Demon, we feel they provide the perfect partner for Europe On Line. The company's knowledge of the market, along with its technology infrastructure, make it our number one choice".
Cliff Stanford, Managing Director of Demon Internet, adds "We are pleased to be able to announce this joint venture which will bring Demon into Europe on a massive scale. We are looking forward to repeating the same success on the continent that we are seeing in the UK".
