Volvo likes to view the 850 Sportswagon as a spirited sports sedan with a cavernous trunk. The motoring press agrees.
With the rear seat folded forward the cargo area in the Sportswagon expands to 67 cu. ft. The 60/40 split rear seating dramatically enhances the ability to customize the allocation of seating and cargo area. Lift the rear door and it swings up and out of the way while providing overhead protection in inclement weather. This opening affords easy access to the highly usable illuminated and fully carpeted cargo area.
