How to get to the Max-Planck-Campus
The campus of the Max-Planck-Institutes with the Friedrich-Miescher-Laboratory,
the MPI for Developmental Biology,
the MPI for Biology and the MPI for Biological Cybernetics is located in the north of Tuebingen near the observatory (Sternwarte). Tuebingen is located approx. 25 minutes
south of Stuttgart by car or 1h by train from Stuttgart main station.
Arriving by train:
Please leave the central station and either take a taxi in front of the station or walk 1 minute to the
central bus station (Europaplatz). Take bus lines 3 (to stop at "Sternwarte") or 4 (to
stop at "Corrensstrasse"). Then walk about 5 minutes to reach the Max-Planck-Institutes and the FML. Buses
operate on weekdays from 8.am to 8 pm every 20 minutes. From 8 pm to 11 pm buses operate every 30 minutes. On
Saturday and Sunday buses run every 30 minutes
