Hi, my name is Philip Thompson. I am 25 years old and live in Lichfield, Staffordshire in England. I`ve included some of my favourite links on my page (please feel free to email (pt@wcl.bham.ac.uk) me with any comments) but first let me tell you a little about myself.
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1993 with a 1st class honours degree in Engineering Physics after completing a 4 year sandwich course.
I'm currently employed by Telepath Systems, as a programmer/analyst. Telepath Systems are a company that was created by the University of Birmingham to market the Total Pathology Laboratory System. I am currently working within the Wolfson Computer Laboratory, an academic department within the University of Birmingham, which is situated on the Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre site. I am part of a team of programmers that are currently developing and upgrading software for the Total Pathology Laboratory System.
My hobbies include motorcycling, reading (sci-fi & general fiction), cinema, fitness training, and computing. I also frequently use the DALnet IRC Network, where I`ve talked to people from all over the world (and even got to meet some of them!).
