1. Each entrant chooses a roster of five players from the draft board, but each General Manager is subject to a $10,000,000 salary cap.
2. Season #2 will begin Wednesday, February 22nd, and will consist of 5 consecutive two-week scoring periods ending on Sunday, April 23. Each scoring period will begin on a Monday and end on a Sunday (except for the first one). Each GM may drop their lowest scoring period (due to injuries, suspensions, etc.).
3. Each GM must pick two guards, two forwards, and one center from the draft board.
4. Each GM may maintain their present lineup or may draft a new team for each scoring period. Players' salaries (values) will change after each period based on their performances. Each participants team value will change based on their players' values. For example if you drafted a team in Period #2 and their draft values for Period #3 changed (see below), you could keep your present lineup or draft a new team from the Period #3 draft board, and your new salary cap will be $10,130.
Value for #2 draft New Value #3 Player A $1,310,000 $1,350,000 Player B $2,520,000 $2,600,000 Player C $3,110,000 $3,200,000 Player D $880,000 $1,000,000 Player E $2,000,000 $1,980,000 ======================================================================= Team Value $9,820,000 $10,130,000
5. New player values will be available on the first Wednesday of each scoring period, and you can enter new teams for the following period as soon as the new draft board is posted, however, your team must be entered by midnight on the Sunday before the new scoring period.
6. There is no "bank". If you spend $9,500,000, you do not have a $500,000 carry over into the next period. Try to spend as close to the cap as possible.
7. Each GM's team must be submitted by Monday Feb. 20 by 7:30pm EST to be eligible for the first scoring period. Teams entered after that date must wait until the next period. It is possible to enter late. Remember: You may drop a scoring period.
8. The scoring values for each players will be:
For each point a player scores +1
For each assist
+1
For each rebound +1
For each steal
+1
For each block +1
For each
missed shot (FG or FT) -1
For each turnover -1
For each foul -1
9. Awards will be given out to mid-season and season winners. Only people who have paid $20 are eligible for the prizes. Again, you may play without paying (but is that any fun?). The amount of the prizes is undetermined because it depends on the pot. I would like to guarantee money, but I am just a student running this in my spare time. The prize amount from the "first" Season was $120.00. As of now the winner of "second" season will win $120.00, but hopefully the pot will grow. (11 people have currently paid.)
