The Virginia Commonwealth University Language Learning Center

General Information

  • The Language Learning Center is located in Hibbs 424-426 on the Academic
    • Campus and is administered by the Department of Foreign Languages.
    It is for students currently enrolled in foreign language classes at VCU and
    although others may use the facility with special permission (see the
    Director or Department Chair).

  • There are two sections: the Sony Lab (Hibbs 424), consisting of a Sony 5510
    • console and 43 student units and the Computer Lab, which houses 27
    Macintosh computers.

  • HyperCard-based guide to computer programs available (Mac access only)

  • Language Learning Center Director: Sonja Moore

    The Language Learning Center Newsletter

  • The LLC newsletter Plugged in to the News appears once a semester and
    • gives information on recent activities in the LLC.

    Hours for Fall, 1995

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 900 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
