1996 Informix Worldwide User Conference Call for Papers--Speaker Opportunity

As we prepare for the 1996 Informix Worldwide User Conference, we would like to extend to you, our customers, partners, and professional colleagues, this annual invitation to submit papers for presentation.

Past user conference attendees have told us that first-person experience in implementing Informix database technology provides them with valuable information; accordingly, we strongly encourage submission of case studies using Informix products.

Specific Topics can include, but are not limited to, the following:

Paper Selection Evaluation:

Submission Deadline--February 15, 1996

  1. You will receive written acknowledgement upon receipt of your proposal.
  2. Proposals will be read and evaluated by the Informix Worldwide User Conference Paper Selection Committee (made up of Informix personnel and fellow Informix users).
  3. Selections will be completed by April 1, 1996. You will receive written notification of the Committee's decision.
  4. Should your proposal be accepted, you will receive guidelines to help you prepare both your paper and presentation.
  5. All accepted, finished presentations must be finalized and sent to Informix by May 15, 1996.

Upon Acceptance:

  1. You will receive a full conference pass.
  2. Your work will be published in the Informix Worldwide User Conference Proceedings.
  3. You will present your work at the conference (July 9-12, 1996 in Chicago, Illinois).

Due to the large expected response, proposals will be considered in the order received.
