Backrest and seat cushion of driver's seat adjustable fore and aft, for height and angle, seat cushion also adjustable fore and aft independently of the backrest, adjustable lumbar support. Front passenger seat adjustable fore and aft, backrest adjustment - optionally available with the same features as driver's seat. Height-adjustable head restraints; three-point inertia-reel seat belts with automatic belt geometry adjustment and belt tensioners; automatic comfort-fit setting. Folding centre armrest adjustable to three different positions. Both front seats available with multi-contour backrests as an optional extra. Electrically adjustable seats with memory feature for three positions in Mercedes S 600 as standard, for all other models available as an option with or without memory feature for each front seat. Rear: three-seater rear seat with two pneumatically lowered head restraints, self-locking folding centre armrest, optionally available with integrated storage compartment, two three-point inertia-reel seat belts on left and right side, lap belt with retractor mechanism in the middle. Head restraints and rear-seat backrest electrically adjustable as an optional extra (standard on S 600). Electrically adjustable individual rear seats with centre console, lockable oddments compartment, lumbar support, memory feature and multi-contour backrest as an optional extra. Leather upholstery (two-tone leather seats standard in S 600) or "Exclusive Leather" upholstery in three colour combinations as an optional extra.
