Montanoceratops

Montanoceratops sp.

This is one of the last dinosaurs known to have lived in Alberta, but it is also one of the most primitive. Montanoceratops probably lived in harsh environments where it did not have to compete with its more advanced descendants, the horned dinosaurs.
