Curriculum Vitae:
Davide Berveglieri had been studying computer science and process control at Politecnico di Milano (1988-1993). He graduated with a Thesis concerning Chimera, an active, deductive and object-oriented database environment in the context of the IDEA ESPRIT Project. His advisor was Professor Stefano Ceri. He implemented the schema definition compiler for Chimera. The emphasis of his current research lies in the fields of active database architectures and semantics and in the role mechanism for object-oriented (database and not) languages.
