In the eighth grade, the Stones saved me from being sucked into the psudo-beach party Cliff Richards (See You at the Dance Tonite, Cliff!) cult although the Shades were a great band who could actually play. The Beatles couldn't play though they could write and Dave Clark 5 could neither play nor write. If it hadn't been for the Stones I might a' got hooked on suck rock. Thanks guys. Savin' souls.

I saw the Stones twice on the Voodoo Lounge Tour. In Winnipeg aand in Madison, Wisconsin. I had the oportunity to bump into Daryl Jones in Winnipeg on August 23rd, 1995 aat the Westin Hotel, where the Stones were staying. Security at the hotel was heavy!!! I enjoyed both the shows. I hear they are putting out a new album and touring in 1996. Look foreward to it and to see them again.

I think that if studios can be distributed then there is a merket for major Heritage sites of the world...EG Great Wall, Giza Egypt, Mesa Verde. You get the idea. I think that a combination of production for a concert and broadcast could be a killer experiment for us all. Let me know, I would be interested in tying VRML or equal to the tunes, and synergizing the two into something "completely different".....I have the data and bandwidth if you all are interested. I saw the Rolling Stones on their Voodoo Lounge tour in Pittsburgh at Three Rivers Stadium on Thursday, September 29, 1995. The Stones ARE the World's Greatest Rock n' Roll Band. Nothing tops the Rolling Stones. Keep listening to the Rolling Stones. Mick Jagger is God, Keith Richards is Jesus Christ and the other band members are the Holy Spirit. Amen. (not really, I'm just saying their the closest mortals to divinity). Take care. Michael Lombardo, Pennsylvania State University

The Stones are gonna play for MTV unplugged!!!. In my first email (comment) I said that this will happen at May 20 an 21 1995. But that was wrong. The will play in Holland, Amsterdam, The Paradiso Arena next weekend, 26, 27, 28 and 29 May. I do not know when the tickets are available. One thing is for shore, at the Museum- plein, Amsterdam, Holland there will be 3 videowalls at which the concert can be seen directly. More information to come because the Stones label (Virgin) do not give any comment. The Stones hired the Paradiso Arena for the above mentioned days. They're now in Holland for the rehearsels.

please consider a place in the lounge for late breaking news, where people can bring in the latest stories and rumours about concerts and stuff. for instance, nothing was mentioned in this homepage about the two exclusive concerts this weekend in amsterdams paradiso. there is a newsgroup of course, but to make a more up to date news-link would really improve these pages! keep up the good work here... p.s. i have one of the first tickets for tonights (friday) shows in the paradiso! (i just love cellular telephones!!) good luck, Hans

Your server is GREAT, like the STONES! But I have some commants fot you: Files, which can be downloaded via lynx or mosaic, cannot be by ftp. It'll be great, if you would solve this problem, because there are too big files (10M). If you would have a tour report WWW page, or/and a "party-via-internet" like irc, it'll be very-very great, too. You have forgotten to add the Stones' concert in Hungary (Aug. 8., Budapest, Nepstadion) to your TourDate.html file!!!!!

I really wonder how you guys continue to pump out great music, album after album. I started listening to your 1960's stuff while I was a wee teen, and continue to want to listen to your new music as it is released. In that time I have gone through many life changes (I'll be thirty this year), and have been through many other bands that I will never listen to again. My favourite Stones tunes are Jumpin Jack Flash, Waiting for a friend and Sympathy for the devil. KeKeep up the good work!

Subject: Including sample pages on new CD
Including sample pages on new CD Greetings, Instant Access is a UK based publisher of CD-ROMs. We are close to completing our first Internet focused CD and would like to have the opportunity to include a representative set of your pages. We expect to ship over 250,000 of these CDs in Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific through OEM bundles and retail sales. WHY PUT LIVE "LIVE" WEB PAGES ON A "DEAD" CD??? Come over to the UK or visit Australia and you'll see why. Limited bandwidth outside the US turns 28.8 screamers into 2400 baud sleepers... The CD offers instant access (excuse the pun!) to great pages such as yours that might otherwise be visited only with graphics turned off - or worse - never at all! We will include your URL and encourage users to visit your site. There is no charge for inclusion -- we need content and in turn we will bring more eyes to your pages. We don't need your complete site, just a representative set of pages. We do need your response as soon as possible, so please let me know if we can include your pages or whether you require more information. Regards David Fox davidwfox@eworld.com Instant Access International PS. If you can agree to allow us to include your pages, we would appreciate an FTP address from which to download the text and graphics files. We will also need your permission to change file names to meet ISO 9600 standard (ie. 8+3 DOS/Windows file naming)

Please tell them I always send my best with hearty applause for all of the enjoyment that they have given me over the years. Oh, almost forgot -- I did see them live, on pay-per-view. Just seen Stones in Helsinki with 50000 other fans. They were wonderful! The greatest rock & roll band in the world lived up it its promise. Satisfaction, Honky Tonk Women, Between A Rock and a Hard Place, Wild Horses and Jumpin' Jack Flash were my favourites in a set that had no letdowns. Caught a glimpse of smile in Mick's, Keef's, Charlie's and Ron's face. They must have felt the same about this performance. We went wild!
