The Stones are rockin better than ever
in The Voodu Lounge. The acoustics are
great there, which may be one reason
why they sound so good. I mean, sure
they were good twenty, twenty-five

Ventured into the Voodoo Lounge in August at Exhibition Stadium, Toronto. The Bad Boys of Rock showed why they have that title. This album is the best in at least 10 years.

This tour was number four for me and they just get better and better. The Stones have come along way since playing Jack Russel in Clearwater, FL in can't even remember the year (maybe '64). I've been a hard-core Stone's fan since the beginning. I'm so glad they brought out many old songs for the Voo Doo Lounge. "Not Fade Away" blasted me off my seat and there was no turning back. We'll never get old and rusty as long as we have The Rolling Stones to rock to!!! Live it up and die in bed (:*))

I remember a particular Voodoo lounge

shirts, memorabilia etc., and my irritation
was such that I can imagine the damage
you have done to yourselves in the minds

Let me first make one thing absolutely clear
- I love the Stones ! They were my first love
musically, and my passion for them hasn't
diminished in any way. However, what they (
and I place the majority of the blame at Jagger's
door) is nothing short of repulsive ! This
credit card business is the icing on the cake.
What happened to the Street Fighting Man then ?
I am not naive enough to beleive that he ever existed,
but the level of hypocrisy is stunning. A
Stones credit card. The fact that most people
don't find the idea remotely strange just
goes to show how shallow the whole Sixties thing
was. Vive La Revolution !

I have some incredible photos of Mick and Ron tending bar at The Park West Nite Club in Chicago
in 1981 after a gig at the Rosemont. I was the only bartender and Mick and Ron joined me behind the bar.
I also have a great closeup of them onstage that same nite at The Park West where they did a couple
of impromtu songs.
If you are interested in seeing these photos please E-Mail dan@ccsnet.com you will
really enjoy these.

I have been searching for NADB-CAST's address on the Web for about two hours. The Crawl gave me a return that allegedly contained nadb+cast+archeology--but I couldn't find nadb there. I also couldn't find it on the Archnet, and my Mosaic Special link to cast is refused. Thank god, I finally find my old PAPERCOPY (that's hard copy to you computer people) of a letter I got from Bob Harris, where he sent me the hope page http address. But I wonder what other people do: has anyone ever really found nadb (not nagpra) on the Web by using the"Oh, it's so easy, no problem" (reminds me of my Numbers theory professor: 'Es ist trivial') WWW. You know, there is a world of praise out here for someone who would simply set up a net access that worked the way the rest of us do, e.g. the way we navigate around town or in a library or in books. In the meantime, I' ll keep cursing Windows (I'm sorry, I never learned how to read these weird(wierd) things in school, and I don't think it is either fun, funny or reasonable that black is white, etc.[If you don't know what I mean, look at a compying machine for the symbol for darker/lighter]) and just about everything having to do with computers beyond Fortran and BASIC and MathCad -- but keep on 'interacting' with them. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh. And another thing, why do my (rational ones such as requests for information, not like this diatribe) messages disappear from the net after one or two days, while flames can stay on burning ('We didn't start the fire')?

Still nothing beats the good old live show, and
