Dear all,

Update Friday July 7:

We are currently 150 miles west of Moruroa in calm seas. We did some boat training and had a swim stop this afternoon. We had another visitor a little earlier, but of a more welcome sort: a curious fin whale who surfaced near us several times.

Our other "ghost" is still tracking us at 12 miles.

We anticipate a release going out later tonight re an open letter to Chirac as we approach Moruroa. Then there is likely to be at least one more tomorrow regarding any surviellance we come under, as we get closer to the zone.
