Customer Position

This inquiry displays customers that have one or more accounts linked by a global customer number. The global customer number facilitates the display of all the positions by currencies and security within the linked accounts. In addition, the Position per Customer view also provides a link to the Customer Credit and Risk Management information, and the Customer Credit Position overview.

Within the framework of the Position per Customer, the entire transactional history is stored and eligible for display. Specific detail information can be displayed for each position and transaction. Foreign exchange forward trades are displayed separately and fixed income instruments are displayed with a yield-to-maturity. All positions are valued on mark-to-market prices and grouped by financial product.

Other views incude: Yield / Price which displays customer settled positions information specific to bonds (maturity date, interest, yield to maturity, yield to call); Currency Rate Information which provides bid, ask and middle rates for all currency rates in the system; Account Position which displays the Face/Shares and Average Cost of a selected security position in the account; Collateral View which displays the number of face / shares of each position which is free and to what extent the position has been used as collateral; Liquidations which displays closing liquidation transactions for the customer.
