I was in a movie-of-the-week (sci-fi) "Intruders" in a flashback of Susan Blakely as a child. I've also been in Mervyns and Mattel commercials.
I love all sports. But soccer, water-skiing and volleyball I like best.
I love to go to the movies, and the beach and hang out with my friends doing whatever is fun.
Why I wanted the role of Stacey and a part in the BSC movie: I thought the role of Stacey sounded interesting because she has so many neat scenes considering she falls in love with a boy, has diabetes, and her baby-sitting experience with her baby-sitter best friends. I like her because she gets to be the "fashionable" one since she's from New York. I even get to go there with my best friend Claudia in the movie. Overall, I just wanted to be a part of the movie because I knew, considering a lot of girls were in it, that I'd make some really good friends that I could have a lot of fun with and also because I really wanted the experience of being in a movie.
Melanie is great. During my diabetic scenes she gave me lots of exercises to prepare me and of course we did our lines and stuff but we had to know how to prepare for the scene. Like she'd make me run around and get dizzy and talk to me about symptoms to get really prepared so in my mind I'd think it even though I wasn't really diabetic. She just really helps us and she's one of the nicest people I've ever met.
The night when we were in the cabin and we were altogether talking and helping Kristy, Melanie talked to us and said "just remember that you're all best friends." But we didn't have to imagine it because we all are.
