As you will have already seen ZD Net UK has changed. Whilst we will continue to deliver all the up to the minute magazine and online information you know and love, we have rebuilt the user interface to make our site more coherent and easy to navigate, as well as adding some great new features and content.
All our pages now carry a standard navigation bar (like the one just below the ad on this page) which allows you to switch between our eight channels quickly and easily from any other page on the service. The new channels listed (News, Products, Buying, Software, Games, Education, At Home and Community) on this navigation tool reflect the kind of content we think you'll be most interested in.
In addition to the standard navigation bar we also offer site-wide series of resources on the left hand panel which you will find useful -- things like Yahoo! The Computer Channel and a Special Promotions button where we'll be bring you lots of great offers and deals. The buttons towards the top of each pages left hand panel are specific to the channel you are in at the time.
- Our News channel is brought to you by PC Daily News and features the latest UK news stories posted throughout every working day as well as familiar columnists, events and commentary.
- PC Magazine will be creating the Products channel, offering a wide range of reviews, labs tests and timely product information from all our magazines.
- ZD Net UK's Software library boasts 12,000 virus checked and tested downloads, all just a click away.
- The Buying channel is brought to you by PC Direct, and this is where you'll get all the information and support you need to make informed and wise buying decisions every time.
- CGW is delivering the Games channel and its packed full of information about the latest and soon to be released games.
- Education Direct brings you our new Education channel where teachers can find out the latest about whats new in the world of PCs and education and share IT experiences with their peers.
- Computer Life At Home brings you a daily diet of ideas, events, web links and projects for your home PC and its modem.
- Finally, we've created a new Community channel to bring all our users together. We've already got several discussion forums going and will be adding a live interview area in the near future. Get down there and have your say today!
