Black Boot Records

Black Boot Records is a new country/roots-focused label based in Seattle, WA, USA. It emphasizes the importance of established and hot emerging country music (all genres including bluesy to rockin') artists , and development of new talent located in the Northwest region of the US. The label is also interested in songwriters and performers not necessarily living in the Northwest.

Black Boot Records was formed in 1992 with the introduction of a duo named Holt & Walker and their original recording of "Cowboy Rap". The owner of the label is Etiquette Productions/Buck Ormsby (who formed and co-owned the first N.W. independent rock'n'roll record label Etiquette Records in the early '60's, and co-produced several Northwest rock artists including the famous "fabulous Wailers", and the legendary Sonics).
