The University of Minnesota, is one of the most comprehensive in the country and ranks among the top 20 universities in the United States. It is both the state land-grant university, with a strong tradition of education and public service, and a major research institution, with scholars of national and international reputation. University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus

The University's Twin Cities campus in Minneapolis and St. Paul is the largest of its four campuses. Made up of 20 colleges, it offers nearly 200 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate and professional degrees in approximately 175 fields of study. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities was rated one of the top 25 best college buys among national universities by the U.S. News and World Report 1994 Guide to Colleges.
