TAEGU, South Korea - Bloodied clothes, schoolbags and textbooks were scattered helter-skelter by a gas explosion under a well-traveled road that killed at least 103 people, many of them schoolchildren. As many as 200 people were injured and others were still trapped under debris from a subway under construction.
"There are torn limbs, blood everywhere," said Choi Hong, a rescue worker. "A lot of the people down there are kids, kids who were crushed to death."
