Full Disk H-alpha image of the sun received 95/04/18 at 18:59 UT from Boulder, Colorado. Image is 512 wide by 480 high, 8 bits per pixel. It is available in GIF format. H-alpha light solar images reveal many features and complexity that tell us what is happening on the Sun. Additional images are available as full-page displays or as files.
SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE VERY LOW TO LOW. REGION 7863 IS STILL EXPECTED TO PRODUCE C-CLASS ACTIVITY. THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO BE MOSTLY QUIET TO UNSETTLED FOR THE NEXT THREE DAYS.
A more detailed forecast is available.
X-ray flux values from the last 3 days, measured on the GOES satellites, are shown. The upper plot shows 1-8 angstrom data, the lower plot 0.0 to 0.4 angstrom data.

The Satellite Environment Plot combines satellite and ground-based data to provide an overview of the current geosynchronous satellite environment. Although these data are of interest to the satellite community, they do not include all parameters and energy ranges known to be associated with satellite anomalies.
This is an imagemap so you may obtain a larger scale plot and additional comments by pointing your cursor at one of the graphs and clicking on it.
