The U.S. Joint Global Ocean FLUX STUDY (JGOFS) provides information on the role of the ocean in the global carbon cycle.
Several organizations contribute toward producing "A Guide to Tide Gauge Networks and Global and Regional Sea Level Data Sets."
The JPL Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) archives and distributes data relevant to the physical state of the oceans.
