March 7, 1995, was an important day. That day began a 500-day countdown to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. In 11 of our NationsBank cities, we celebrated this countdown to the 100th year of Olympic competition with special events that included announcing three new NationsBank products, introducing Olympic athletes to school children and helping to promote several upcoming Olympic events.

It has been written that the Olympic Games are the only moments in the history of the world when so many nations come together at the same time, in the same place in an association of friendship. That is why NationsBank is proud to be the Official Bank of the 1996 Olympic Games. The goals of NationsBank and our more than 65,000 associates run parallel with the Olympic movement: to work hard, to work as a team, and to win.

March 7 also marked our official entry onto the Internet. We're excited to spread the good word about the Olympics, and we hope sports fans from around the world share in that excitement as we count down to Atlanta. In the weeks and months to come, these pages will continue to grow with up-to-date information about NationsBank, our products, our services and our special people. At NationsBank, the customer is our partner in everything we do. We look forward to using the Internet to best meet our customers' financial needs.

We at NationsBank welcome comments and suggestions specifically regarding our home page. Please send them to webmaster@www.nationsbank.com.
