What's New!

The Acme Bicycle Catalog has been updated to demonstrate PB.web's (tm) on-line ordering capability. As you browse the Acme catalog, you can add any item to an order form by just selecting "Order". When you are done shopping, you can complete the order, supply shipping and billing details, and your order will be on the way.... NOT! (Remember, Acme is a ficticious company!)

You can now participate in online discussions about PB.web (tm) and ProductBase (R) technology. We're interested in your feedback: whether you're a current MediaShare customer, a prospective customer, or just interested in online sales technology, we'd like to hear from you.

And now, through PB.web's support for HyperNews online discussions, you can host online discussions focused on any or all the products in your on-line catalogs!

Sample Catalog

Here is a sample catalog published by PB.web. This catalog was produced from the same ProductBase used to publish the PBPlus Acme Bicycle catalog on MediaShare's demo CD-ROM. (Contact MediaShare if you are interested in a demo CD-ROM.)

This sample catalog will be updated regularly, to show new capabilities as the are added to PB.web, as well as to illustrate how easily and radically the look and feel of a PB.web catalog can be changed at the push of a button. Check back often to see the latest incarnation of the ever-changing Acme Bicycle Catalog!

Sample Video

This sample video shows-off MediaShare's in-house animation capabilities. In the animation, the "camera" spirals around and into a close-up of an Acme bicycle.

The animation was produced on one of MediaShare's 4 Silicon Graphics Iris workstations using SoftImage. This video is in 320x240 Indeo 3.2 format, and was compressed for single-speed CD-ROM use. The original animation was produced to D1 and BetaCam Digital formats.
